In the late game yes, they will lose some power compared even to cleric and druids. (Death spells, or just the AoE spells) but you run out of spell, and martial class can always swing his sword. There is a dungeon in the game that once you enter, you cannot get out until finished. In dungeons you cannot hunt, so without resting rations....no spell recovery. It happens by level 9 (out of 20 levels)

Also, there is the monk class which is powerful melee. There is an achievement, to do 150 with a monk in a punch (achievement is called One Punch)... So it is maybe dependent on luck with the dice, but it is really a great damage.

Compared to normal D&D 3.5, pathfinder tried to give something to the martial classes:for example, fighters
Fighters get to do several status effects on critical, like bleeding. I think they can stun also.
Also, fighter can move at his normal speed even in heavy armor at some level, so the foe cannot just flee to not being hit.

Or you know just take a lot of supplies before entering the dungeon (as the game remind you at least 2 times) and rest all you want.

Martial classes are powerfull, the whole game thanks to how easy it is to get sneak attacks. I'd say Dex based characters get the most op gear through the game, in general taking a level of rogue is good for every martial character.

Martials are typically more consistent and work well with casters, who give them long term buffs for battle, while also being able to endure enemy assaults better than even most divine casters. Casters are better at dealing with the crowd generally while martials are better at dealing with the individual. Due to their ability to buff while also being able to crowd control and do great damage, from a contextless standpoint casters are better at virtually every stage of the game, but it's important to remember that casters and martials synergize together to overcome challenges.

I'm lvl 12 now and when i run unprepared in a fight most of them are finished before i could cast one spell ^^ i will relay on my melee chars for dmg but use my casters for burst damage ... 2 fireballs and the overwhelming odds are normaly lvled in bigger fights
