Glaive cleave is fine. Don't go cleave without a weapon with reach.
you can get a pretty decent one from dugan mid game (endless war, +5)
Sure does, it's listed on each weapon. Glaive is 8 iirc. Enlarge person will also buff it.
Where can I acquire this glaive? Is it from a monster or bought from one of the capital vendors?
Also related, should I ever buy items from them? Or save the gold and just get adventuring loot?
i bought all the bags of holding i found and got a few other pieces of gear, but they never restocked in my game (at least not up to end of chapter 3 where my current save is). so far i probably spent like 200,000 gold on build points for the kingdom screen (for lack of better uses for gold)
guess there may be more opportunities later on in the campaign to spend money for items. but so far i didn't have to think twice. if there's something that may help you now - grab it. you'll have plenty of gold and nothing to spend it on for a long time (maybe for the rest of the game?) later
Instead, if she's pure 2-hander Barbarian, go for Power Attack --> Cleave --> Sunder Armor
