Act 1 Barony Bonus Rewards?
Hi guys just wondering for Act 1, how fast do you have to complete the Main quest of Stolen Lands to get the extra bonus rewards for completing it early?

i heard one month (not sure if that is actually killing the stag lord or turning in the quest to oleg but i assume it is the later) and they only reward i heard of was a +2 dueling sword with a special ability(no clue what it does) but i have not done it myself so all hearsay. That being said assuming it is only the sword i would say it is not worth it since this gives you free time to gain exp, loot and fully explore the starting areas of the map which i highly recommend doing, since once you start act 2 all the main quests (along with many side quests) are all timed even when they don't tell you they are timed. So back tracking to the starting areas except when you need to (you will still be traveling back to oleg's trading post a good bit) will just be wasting time and you continually need to be saving as much time as possible otherwise you are just hurting yourself and making your kingdom more likely to fail. The only reason i would suggest rushing it would be if the time left over from act 1 adds to your time before ♥♥♥♥ goes down in act 2(which i don't believe it does, but someone correct me if i am wrong). That being said once you get to the 2nd chapter it is best to to do the main quest as quickly as possible (while still doing all the side quests that are part of main quest so you don't miss out on its rewards and exp) since until you complete the main quest for that time, you will get increasing problems every month until you are completely overwhelmed and your kingdom destroyed. While compeleting the main quest gets rid of all the problems tied to it (you will still have some probelms but it will be far fewer and your advisors can therefore do more important stuff) until the next main quest starts(the ancient curse quest is a good indiciator of when the next main quest is going to begin (which is around when it has 15 days lefts(aka get to the baron hills when the timer gets down to 15 days and that should start the next main quest). And this time inbetween main quests is the best time to focus on any other quests you have yet to do and kingdom building. Yeah it is alot to take in and the game does a piss poor job of explaining it all but i am still having a blast other than all the freaking bugs.

As far as I know, there's no bonus reward for killing the Stag Lord early. You're better off taking your time and exploring. Once you become Baron, you will pretty much always have kingdom-threatening quests to deal with.

I'm wondering the same thing.

I finished act 1 with about 2 weeks remaining, and I had about 2 weeks in chapter two before troll trouble and the curse thing started (both started on same day for me if that matters). So was that coincidence, or maybe Troll Trouble does start on a specific day.

I'm replaying chapter 1 now, and I've just cleared the fountain/temple with 68 days and 10 hours to go (6142 exp (level 3)). Seems pretty doubtuf that I could do the remainder of the chapter in 11.5 days (on my first play, Old Syc took me about a month to get through due to all the resting), but if Troll Trouble does start on a set day, it may still be worth ending chapter one as quick as possible to get more terain to explore with that time.

Do people not have a Cleic in the party when resting or something?

u get a +2 dueling sword with +1d6 damage for doing it in a month. if u dont need the sword it sells for around 5k

its pretty easy to do in a month unless u are rest spaming

u can prob make more money grinding random encounters for the extra 60 days tho like others say i dont know if the time carries over.

A Cleric is what makes Harrim and Tristian demi-gods...

The first time I did it (when I squandered a month on Old Syc), I had not yet met Tristian, so Jaethal and Linz were my only healers. I've got Tristian this time, so hopefuly it will go a bit better.

If you kill the Stag Lord within 30 days you get a +2 Dueling Sword which has a -5 to hit chance when attacking companions. This pairs very well with the necklace you get from collecting all the beads in Act 1 as the necklace lets you deal 2d6 backstab damage on a successful hit but also makes you take an attack of oppurtunity whenever an ally moves away from your character.
