Help Me Choose THE ONE SWORD

I've messed around in Act 1 for a while just trying different builds, but I'm ready to commit to my Elven Dex Magus, which means it's time to choose a weapon focus.

I have three factors I'm trying to balance in order to land on one, and the short version is I'm deciding between scimitar, estoc, or dueling sword. Can some of you who've played further into the game give me your suggestions based on the following?:

1. Availability: I don't want to play most or all of the game with a low level weapon just because the devs didn't include good level appropriate options or a crafting system. The number one factor here is which of these three swords are most common and/or have the strongest end game options?

2. Stats: Obviously the Estoc wins here, but I'll go with one of the other two if they beat it in the other categories.

3. Feel: this comes down to aesthetics and lore. I get soooo tired of watching the rapier *poke poke* animation. Does the Estoc use it too? I like the vibe of slashing weapons better.

So, have at it. Which sword should I use to conquer the world?

There are a lot of dueling swords

There are enough estocs although they are scattered around the world in a much more random way

There are okay amount of scimitars during critical paths and since half-orc companion seems to favour them, there are even somewhat magus-oriented (like bonus enchantment when you have touch spell ready)
The best scimitar I found is for pet builds/shapeshifters though.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like dueling swords might be the way to go, even without the better crit range.

So far I can tell you, that there are +1 versions of all of them. Dueling swords have a few named ones early on, but nothing special. All the better weapons I found thus far were maces, daggers, and axes. I still wait for a better longsword than +2, or with at least some energy damage.
