Critical Hit Confirmation Roll
I just got a sick rogue chest that says

"Critical Hit Confirmation Roll increased by +4"

Just to get this confirmed; this means my weapon crit has and increased +4 added to its dice..?

When you roll a crit you will have to a roll a second time to "confirm". This second roll doesn't have to be another crit it just has to hit their AC. The +4 is added to the "confirmation" roll. If the second roll does not hit their AC you still hit them but you don't get critical damage.

No. Crits need a confirmation roll. When you roll 18-20 with a Rapier, you roll a second time to confirm the crit. You have to actually HIT with the second hit to get the crit.

Natural 20s are the only automatic crits.

You still need to confirm even with natural 20s unless they have changed that in this game.

As far as I understand it you make two separate rolls. The first roll with unmodified d20 against your weapons threat range. If your roll is in your threat range you need to confirm the critical with a modified hit roll against the enemy AC, this includes all your attack modifiers. So basically "Critical Hit Confirmation Roll increased by +4" means you have +4 to attack - but only for crits.

edit:
oh to slow ... but now I can read if I understood it right ;)
