How to open the root door in Old Sycamore ?

Please, help me .-. i only have 15 days for beat Stag Lord and i cannot understand how to open the root door in Old Sycamore Caves for find and beat Tartuccio...

I've explored all the Caves and Depths (I believe, at least...), i have the gold frog idol, I'm allied with Kobolds, but I really do not understand what to do for open that door and find my enemy .-.

In the Caves, the Kobold leader Sootscale is often missed because the area must be accessed through a door (no key or lockpicking needed), but that door is often missed for some reasons.

Just compare your Caves & Depths maps with my screenshots. You can't access the full Caves by default, you'll need to move through the Depths, then going back in the Caves by a different entrance.

You need the relic that sootscale has. I allied with the mites so I took it off her corpse, I'm not sure how you're supposed to get it if you're allied with the kobolds.

If you ally with one or both sides, you just have to talk to the leader(s) (Mites Queen and Sootscale) and you can ask them the relic(s).

I visited ALL the map (looking at yours with mine under my eyes) but not after the root door. Maybe i didn't talk with sootscale O_o i try to go there using your map, ill tell you if it works!

You need the relic that sootscale has. I allied with the mites so I took it off her corpse, I'm not sure how you're supposed to get it if you're allied with the kobolds.

This is correct. The mites have lost their relic to tartuccio. You can either talk to the kobold leader (need to get in the door thing to investigate - NO skillcheck required) or kill the kobold leader and loot it off his corpse if you are his enemy.

Hm. I didn't even find an entrance... I can "stand" on a cut tree, but this is a mobility-difficulty of 21. Just impossible for my party... (the best rank is 6 for Linzi, the worst -11 for Valerie.)

I slept at a special location and defeated this skull-imp curiuosity. (which was just annoying...) but I can't find anything else. The exclemation-mark on the world-map also has vanished.

there are 3 entrances to the tree, if none of em are available, you probebly skipped he step with meeting tartuc in the clearing after the first tomb where you got the "first" companion, and my bet is to go find it(the clearirng with kobolds/tartuc),
if you are on the right step in the quest , a short cutscene should play when u enter the area and move north. if that didnt happen do step above.else the entrances to the tree will be exlamation marks.

Dammit! I let the queen go without a fight nor an alliance! Does this mean I need to start over? Good thing I have multiple saves, but it takes about five days of gaming to clean out the Sycamore Tree caves and depths!

No, you can still complete the game, I am going to assume you beat her in combat but spared her life and let her run? If so, you should have been given the relic to open the door, you just need to get the one from the cobolds as well.

Tartuccio has the Mite key.

I am stuck in Old Sycamore caves at the southwest corner, where a wooden palisade blocks the way south. I can see a cart south of the palisade, but I can't go through to reach it.
Compared to the maps you guys had been showing, I seem to have no access to the whole south east part, where Sootscale Kobolds are.
Any hint, please?

At first, the only way to go to the Kobold side from the Mite side or vice versa is by going further underground or by going outside and enter from a other entrance.

The ''outside'' Kobold entrance is going to be in the southeast of the first map. If you go further underground, most of the southern exit are going to lead you to the Kobold side, except one in the western part that lead outside.
