Heavy mace - Simple, 1d8 damage, blunt damage
Flail - Martial one handed weapon, 1d8 damage, with the disarm and trip qualities, meaining they are better suited to being used for those purposes (e.g. they get a +2).
Flail is pretty tough to justify over a Heavy Mace, unless you are trying to use those extra qualities. At least it weighs less. Hope you didn't get Martial Weapon Proficiency just to use it.
Light mace is pretty good, but has a poor damage die. Solid simple weapon choice
They're all pretty bad due to bad crit multipler though
Have you been able to confirm that Flails have the +2? I've seen nothing in the info panel saying they get a bonus to trip/disarm. Is it a hidden stat? I know they did in the PnP I was just wondering if they actually got them in the game.
