Armag's Tomb and where to find it

Dear Pathfinders! We've received multiple reports that finding the Armag's Tomb is bugged. We've checked the save files provided by the players, and, in most cases, there was no bug, just a little confusion. I'm posting this guide on finding the Armag's Tomb both to help those players who are stuck and double-check that there's no actual bug here.

So: Armag's Tomb is well hidden, it doesn't simply appear on the map. There are kingdom projects and one story event (the boatman) that could help you find it.

1. 'Find Any Hint on the Location of Armag's Tomb' kingdom project - this one you get automatically.
2. The boatman book event - triggers when you cross the East Sellen River, traveling from Dire Narlmarches to Glenebon or vice versa.

Successfully completing both this project and this event should 100% unlock the Armag's Tomb location = it would appear on the map while you travel further to Glenebon. Completing only one of them significantly lowers the DC of the perception check required, so you should be able to find the tomb if you have a character with high perception in your party.

If you did all of the above and the tomb is still not appearing on the map - then it's a bug and we'll be very happy to have a report with save file attached.

The problem could occur if you are playing with auto-kingdom mode and auto-kingdom fails to complete the 'find tomb' project. We are currently working on the solution for it. There's a workaround: complete the boatman story event, then take the character with highest perception, equip them with gear and buffs that boost perception, and try traveling through Glenebon. 100% success is not guaranteed, but this advice could help some players who are stuck.

It's not working for me. I've been all up and down the East Sellen river and crossed every place I could. The Boarman isn't appearing, and when I try to cross at most places I just get the "You can't get into Pitax" encounter. Where should I be "crossing the river" to get this Boatman encounter? I think I have been all up and down the East Sellen several times, crossing everywhere that I can.

Maybe make this quest a little easier to finish/find? If this many people are having a problem with it, perhaps a change is necessary.

Yup, just tried crossing at every place. Always get the, "We had no reason to fight our way into Pitax" message. Been up and down the entire river, how do you get the boatman event to pop? Seems crossing the river is only possible at certain places, none of which cause the "boatman" to pop up.

It is a place (like the other on the map) were you go in, then it activate this boatmen. It is direct at the river.

It should be named pike riverun (google translate, so may not accurate). It is nearly on the same lv like the den of this boar you found in AC with the first Amiri quest. Need only scroll to the river and it is at the line if you look from the boars den on the river (and there is a passing over into your land too)

Thank you, I got the boatman quest and now I'm looking for the tomb where it should be with a +23 to perception; I'm not sure what else to do. It's simply not appearing. This is rather discouraging. Perhaps the devs, should they be listening, should make this an easier perception check because as it stands this is just a bit ridiculous. I've had no issues with the game so far and now to be stuck where so many other players are stuck tells me perhaps this is a problem of game balance/design rather than anything I'm doing wrong.

Half monitor north you should find the grave. It is nearly direct north of the boatmen.

Yup, I've checked all over. Apparently I just don't have the perception to see it, or it's bugged. I can't play this game until the developers fix some of the bugs; it's simply too frustrating. I've never had to quit a CRPG before this one and I'm a vetern of games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Temple of Elemental Evil. I expect bugs on a new release but this is just ridiculous. I have a map showing me exactly where I should be finding this tomb and it simply isn't happening. I can't leave a positive review for this game until they finish it; and it wasn't released in a finished state.

If anyone has any further ideas on how to find this tomb (I can see on a map image where it's supposed to be) - let me know. I have Ekun with a +5 perception goggles on and I'm not even sure the game engine is adding the bonus.

Makes me sad, because I love the ruleset but the bugs and the impossible quest (for some people, apparently) makes it unplayable and unable to leave a positive review on. I'm still not even sure anyone has been able to finish this damn game. It's basically still in early access.

Considering that this is the ONLY quest I failed so far in this game, this kinda sucks. But I will load a previous save and try and fix things.

I ran the clock out for 3 months and no such Project ever appeared.
Hell I still don't have a magister position, it's never appeared and I assume never will at this point.
I did the river event.

I walked right next to the thing with +32 Perception and saw nothing.
