Season of bloom feels really disjointed spoilers
So it progresses nicely as smoothly, you do a hunt you learn about the problem. In my case we performed a successfull vivisection, learned all about the source of the problem. We quarantined all the sick people in the prison (exactly to avoid monsters in the street) while Tristian and Jhod performed vivisections day and night to heal people.

And then... After killing some goblins suddenly for no apperant reason everything becomes super critical in time, Kersten insists the capital is about to be overrun for no apperant reason, we are already quarantening the sick and healing them. And presumably since we know every aspect of this crisis we have the military on high alert in the capital not being caught unaware. Yet besides this Kersten has a prophecy that the capital is about to fall and he insists on going to the Womb of Lamasthu, nevermind that he is leading a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ militia of peasants I cant send him home. No Clearly the guy who has been losing to goblins is the clear choice to send fighting huge primordial creatures.

So going back to the capital isnt going to solve anything and everything that happened before leads me to believe the capital is properly prepared for this so i go to the womb of lamashtu. I dont rest a single time on the way, i dont rest a single time during the entire dungeon except the mandatory one near the Gnome. The entire thing is done in roughly 32 hours from Kerstens doomsday prophecy.

And when I return to the capital, true enough for some reason monsters are just roaming the streets instead of being quaranteed or healed in the prison. The military is no where to be seen, no such of evacuation plans have been set in motion. Everyone is acting as if this is a complete surprise that nobody could have predicted. What the hell happened to all our preparations?

This feels like a really rushed artificial "drama" There is no way the capital should or could have fallen like that.

1. We were already quarantening all the sick in cells so they wouldnt become monsters in the street.

2. We already learned how to heal the sick (taking the seed out of their stomach), and we were healing all we could

3. Knowing all the details of the situation, while it was not explicitly stated, I cannot imagine a scenario where martial law was not called and the military was roaming the streets ready to counter any emerging monster.

4. This disease has been going on for weeks but for some reason it just went into massive overdrive in a single day???

The goblin shaman literally tells you something like "the super bloom starts now".
And your party comments: Ohh ♥♥♥♥ if every infected starts popping out monsters right now all at the same time we are ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Reading is hard.

The goblin shamans comments doesnt lead us to believe anything has accelerated the "burst" rate of peoples diseases. Yes the goblins forcefeeding water to peasants is increasing the number of people being infected, but nothing leads us to believe that people will turn into monsters faster, which mean should mean we should still have a couple of days before the sick people turn.

And again even if for some reason it happened alot faster, we would still not just let the sick people roam the streets knowing full well what is happening, and the military is still completely missing.

oh u havent seen the worst then hahaha :D

if you screw up to know who is economic adviser and who is not or u do not make it there in time then u will lack an advisor forever...

apparantly hiring a dimwit for design was their prime choice... at least bloom u cant move on with mistakes and realize it a week later...

I think that you are being far too optimistic. Some comments (not directly aligned to your comments):
  1. The Bloom was designed to go critical all at the same time, and the goblin leader flatly told you that killing him would cause everyone infected to die and release a beast.
  2. Like any good biowarfare agent, the disease spread undetected through a large portion of the population. Keep in mind that one of the rivers that feeds the lake where your capital likely gets much of its water from was the origin of the disease. Its entirely possible that 80% of your population was infected at some point.
  3. There is no good way to identify the infected individuals -- and the surgery to fix the problem is likely both risky and can only be performed by a few people. Lots of people who might be showing symptoms will avoid treatment for fear of death (nevermind the fact that if they are infected then they will certainly die -- it could just be the flu, right?)
  4. If emergency actions were being taken to deal with the risk (and it was just a risk prior to you going to the Goblim Fort, right?) of a mass outbreak, then... Well, as the Baron[ess] this would be the kind of decision that you would be involved in, yes? Did you decree an emergency quarntine? Even if you had been given the option, would you have taken it before you left for the Goblin Fort? Keep in mind that this would both be a lawful evil option (you are basically arresting your entire civilian population and forcing them to receive treatment for something that doesn't seem to be that critical) and cost you considerable amounts of Kingdom stats (because, especially if you weren't LE before, the people aren't going to be happy -- and even if you are LE already, people can't go to work if they are sitting in cells waiting to be cleared). And lets not get into the complexity of ensuring clean water for those who have been verified uninfected / cured.

So... Yeah, I think the consequences of this quest are about right.

Wow guy.

Literally, it's all right here.

And, of course, to punctuate the whole thing, the prisoners who presumably just drank the tainted water immediately pop when you head back out.

All together -- boom boom boom.. it has begun.

I found this looking to see how bad the consequences were if I decided not to go to the capital.. and found this rant. I mean, you reply in all caps dude, but everyone else seems to have read this dialog.

For f@#$s sake. We have been keeping all those ill quarantined in the capital knowing that they can "boom" and bad creatures will come out. This just means that measures should have been taken to:
A. Contain beasts in case someone goes boom
B. Fortify the area and have extra militia around (a lot of extra militia) in case plan A fails

OK they go "boom" altogether but we should have been already prepared for that because we knew too little of bloom timers.

The shaman explicitly tells you that the blooming has started and it's obvious you should rush to help your capital with the imminent wave of monsters, the source of the blooming will naturally have to be handled after your capital isn't full of monsters.

Also if you actually rush the capital you'll find out that waves of monsters also attacked from the surrounding forests etc. at the same time as the blooming started, leading to your guards being overrun.

I resolved all this quest line, the big plant in lamashtu, yup all that, done and done but for whatever reason i get problem cards stating there are monsters roaming around the capitol killing everyone. They appear too quickly to deal with them all with only 1 general so sounds like its bugged?
