Most of the good spells seem to be transmutation though. Summons are very useful for initiating fights, however. Otherwise, they are kinduve weak as ♥♥♥♥ and don't keep up-there aren't enough ways to buff them, or tell them to do interesting things, and you can't pick specific summons.
Really, the only character I'm actually really missing is another competent tank. Amiri's STR is a bit too low, and Valerie has no STR to speak of and is a hot mess of a character. I think that's the correct term. I'm suspecting that a Paladin woulden't be a bad idea, as you can have enough Charisma to auto make charisma checks, which is one of the things the main character needs to do himself (although there are other checks made by your character, of course).
But my original question was, are there any class specific choices in this game? Or is it pretty much ok to pick anyclass and not have to worry about it?
