Weapon enchantment : Keen - is it working?
Keen should double the critical threat range of a weapon. i.e. 20 becomes 19-20 and 18-20 would be 15-20.

When i view the keen weapon's info it shows its normal critical threat. When equipped and viewed on character sheet it still shows the crit threat range as its normal amount, yet damage bonuses are included on the damage section of the character sheet.
So, is it actually working, do we know? Or is it a bug to report?

Thanks,

I don't know if it is working, but the same holds true for feats that expand your critical threat. They do not visually alter anything at this point, and I have not witnessed any crits outside of their normal threat range.

Good question, I would say it's another of many bugs that need to be addressed. My paladin just got lvl 9 last night and using Keen blade doesn't display the updated crit threat range. I can't tell if I am critting more with Keen toggled, same goes for a few other weapon mods the Paladin gets.

Would post in bug reports if in doubt

Thanks for confirming it doesn't show it on character sheet but does work!
(so far only have it on a sickle and kukri, which i didn't want to bother messing around with to see if works)

Does not seem to work. Elven Curve Blade is 18-20 by default, meaning Keen would make it 15-20. Did not threaten on a 16.

If I'm not mistaken, only a natural 20 counts as an auto-hit. So even with an expanded crit range, you still have to hit the target AC to get the hit, and then confirm the crit. The AC on that creature was 37 and you rolled a 28. That was the DnD 3.5 rules anyway, which Pathfinder grew out from.

Ahhh, that was it, thanks.
