Cave cooking??

i have the cooking ingredients to make food but i dont have rations so i cant rest in a cave?

rations are for resting in dungeons/caves yes, the cooking ingredients are just for the buff foods you make, which you can't, because you can't cook in dungeons and caves, when you are outdoors you hunt for rations and dont need to carry spares, whats also annoying is everytime you change your party roster it automatically turns use rations on so you end up wasting rations outdoors yay!

It's a questionable design decision given that peopel have been cooking in caves since the stone age, but I suspect the rationale is that lighting a fire and cooking would alert the entire dungeon to your presence. It's annoying but simple to exit the dungeon, rest and return.

yeah i was wondering why my use rations were on i could have sworn i turned it off well thanks for the info
