remember that you also get kingdom stats just for investing, and while +4 (I don't remember whichs stats they were, only that it was +2 two times) might not be much in exchange for 100 BP but...
the building itself also provides +2 relations on top of BP "income". so that makes it +6 stat in exchange for 100 BP, some of which will be returned over time, but also...
if you don't want to keep the building, you can sell it after placing, and you'll get back 50 BP. and then, you end up with +4 kingdom stat (from initial investment) at the cost of only 50 BP, which sounds more reasonable
Never thought about selling it back. Interesting.
But yeah it’s an expensive building for the time, but Relations points are also hard to come by then, so it helps if you are trying to ramp up Relations quickly, to unlock things like Espionage, Easier Claim project, or some better artisan gifts etc.
The BP bonus then helps hedge the cost slowly over time for you.
