I wasnt sure if her hating her would definitely stop all future quests and romances with her but HTakara confirmed that. So if you murder him before the duel you can save her face but end all future involvement with her, if you kill him after then she still looks like Tyrion.
If I'd known it was gonna happen, I'd have at least brought some potions to help mitigate that

When Valerie wins the duel, you can either leave the paladins alive, Valerie won the duel, yay, nice... Or you can let Valerie kill Fredero. Finally, something interesting in this quest ! There, Fredero's mate will attack your party (they're weak), and you can loot them. Fredero got some interesting gears. I chosed to kill Fredero, so no idea if leaving Fredero alive can trigger future quests.
Anyway, Valerie will end up with a scar on her so-called « beautiful » (lmao) face.
