Does killing Fredero Sinnet do anything (guy coming for valerie)

I kind of wanna kill him because I did for fun to see how strong they were (not very strong..) and he had alot of goodies on his body. If I kill him does it affect anything, do the rose knights attack or something? if so then I mean, good, more loot tbh.

If you kill him before they duel I believe you prevent Valerie from scarring her face, but I think it also stops all future quests and romances with her because she hates you (not sure)

Okay so there is a way to kill him in the duel with valerie by claiming that the duel isn't over until one participant is dead, and it wasn't chaotic or evil or anything behind it. so you can effectively kill him without valerie hating you

but she still gets a scar

Murdering him and not letting her Duel him, will cause her to hate you and ends any future events with her.

I wasnt sure if her hating her would definitely stop all future quests and romances with her but HTakara confirmed that. So if you murder him before the duel you can save her face but end all future involvement with her, if you kill him after then she still looks like Tyrion.

The problem is: He have a belt of giant strenght +4, an amulet of natural armor +2 (stacks with normal armor), a ring of protection +2, a heavy shield +2 and a flail +2 (+4 with his buffs but this dont seem to go out, so effective +4 flail). All this for giving up some romance with valerie, when my main character is a half ling....I think I take the latter. And any quests she might have later I doubt it will be super important.

That was one of the most needlessly boring fights in the game. We both had really high AC and I had DR going, so we both had to roll like 18's to hit :/ Needless to say, I started the duel, got up, made something to eat, came back and I was at 3/4 health and he was at 1/2.

If I'd known it was gonna happen, I'd have at least brought some potions to help mitigate that

Fredero's strengths isn't his AC. It's about his Lay of Hands (healing spell), that he'll use like 5-6 times during the fight. But the duel is still winnable (if you full buff Valerie before, and give her good gear). But it's a long and boring fight. God...
When Valerie wins the duel, you can either leave the paladins alive, Valerie won the duel, yay, nice... Or you can let Valerie kill Fredero. Finally, something interesting in this quest ! There, Fredero's mate will attack your party (they're weak), and you can loot them. Fredero got some interesting gears. I chosed to kill Fredero, so no idea if leaving Fredero alive can trigger future quests.

Anyway, Valerie will end up with a scar on her so-called « beautiful » (lmao) face.

if you're a summoner just summon pets they will attack him in the duel... they knocked him down in the first attack and killed him after that. Also I think she seems happy about killing him after the duel.. he would probably just come after again otherwise
