Same total exp. The only reason I could see not wanting to share xp is if you want to focus on leveling a specific character.
I got 9xp for killing the first elk with shared xp on.
Got 54x for killing the second elk with shared xp off.
However 54xp / 6 = 9xp AND checking the character sheets showed in party members gains 9xp both times.
So xp rates seem correct, but reporting seems a little funky.
So, turn xp share off, and share skill use xp off, then focus your MC on trickery and have just them disable all locks traps.
Does this count as an exploit?
ya just had a closer look at it. it gives you a biger number with it off but still divides it the same. but if your running a smaller party you do get more exp with it off as its just dividing to the 3 or 4 party members.
yes just tryed it got 216 exp just for 1 trap :P
I managed to hit level 2 on a new group straight out of the intro (As in before hitting the wolf ambush).
Something that hasn't happened with the numerous other groups I've tried while trying to work out what I wanted to play.
Geez, I hope thats a late game trap cuz that is more then Stag Lord, if I recall.
XD nope its at the mite and kobold civil war area. i restarted after not likeing my first class
Aha, I just started the tutorial and played around with it. My MC has a HUGE jump already, Tarty and Linzi each have close to the same amount, and Jaethal who just joined has zero.
Sp, what I THINK happens is that xp share, well it shares the xp between ALL potential party memebers, even if they have not joined yet.
i think it means there going to be under leveled but when you do pick them up they will level faster. btw dont dont turn it off if your going to be running a 6 man party you get the same exp ether way when you have 6 in the party
Because it gives you more XP if you play smaller party. However if you want to run 6 chars, it gives you exactly same xp.
