Has anyone tried the slingstaff? Problem is bows are probably more efficient without the feat tax though...
Hadnt have a char that wasnt able to use them yet.
Druids dont get simple weapon proficiency for free so one of the few classes that can't use them.
But if you make an Elven druid you can use all kinds of bows right from the start. Including Composite.

not gonna point out where but theres an exceptionally good one that not only deals good damage and has some good stats but also grants +2 dex when worn.
