Knife master - pure or dip into fighter?

I was looking at the knife master and the class seems powerful, but Im not sure if the class BAB is good enough for TWF or I should dip 1 or 3 in fighter? Or maybe single knife is just better?

Well only the sneak attack dice you get from knife master are d8, other sources like vivisectionist or spell are regular d6. But a few levels of fighter never hurt anyone, just get accomplished sneak attacker to offset the loss of SA if you take more than one level of fighter...

i can tell you that one of the companions a goblin is a knife master. He is a real heavy hitter.

I decided to stick to pure KM, no multi and I melt everything on Challenge as long as my druid gets to barkskin me + Cats Grace.

Cats grace is not even needed if you have a belt + to dexterity. You can buff him with greater invis and/or blurr and here we go.

What about combat expertise and dirty trick/trip/disarm? Dirty trick seems interesting for the blind which auto-makes them vulnerable to sneak attacks.

Also, piranha strike seems good at the very start but quickly loses damage as far as I can tell.. not to mention the malus on attack gets bigger.

Piranha Strike makes you lose + attack..DONT take than early level its one of the worst overall dps skills

why would you need blind to make them vulnerable to sneak attack ? all you need is another character targeting them with a bow or any other ranged weapons and ZING Flanked, sneak attack activated.

AFAIK ranged attacks do NOT make targets eligible for sneak attacks?

Mine Knife master is LVL 12, which is by far the most damaged in my group.I sometimes found it a pity if I found great Estoc or similar and he could not do anything with it. I Use Piranha Strike and Think that is Great.
