Old sycamore depths, bridge hoist part

I got the bridge hoist part from the mite that wanted a spider jaw, but when i go to the bridge i can't interact with it to lower it, is there more than one part needed to fix it?

Afaik there is another lever in the depths. It is near one of the entrances to kobold part of the cave.

The hoist part lowers the drawbridge from the top side. The Miner's lever moves the cart from the bottom side. Sometimes the hoist part doesn't seem to do anything. Quicksave and reload that game and try to use it again.
