How to beat Trent The Owlbear-Like? (spoilers)

So my last major obstacle was the "lost sister" boss who pwned my party 10+ times

Now I'm stuck in the "other world", where after spoiling the flower u divide ur squad and fight
Two wolves
and one Trent Owlbear-like boss (or whatever its called)

3 enemies total. The wolves are easy. 3 hits and theyre dead. The bear is too hard for me. I tried using my 6 fireball scrolls on it, and only damaged it for about 15%
Attacks from my strongest warriors dont go through its armor (((

Advice pls?

1. Don't send too many people in the portal, the 2nd battle is really easy

2. The bear hits really hard and it's totally possible that none of your character can tank it. The solution is to kite it since it's very slow. So have 1 character take agro and run around while the other kill him from a distance.

3. Alternatively, you can swarm him with summons, or fear him (his will save is pretty low).

4. Share your party composition for more / better advices.

Kitting him around with 1 member while the others attack from Range was my Solution, preferably someone that does fire dmg or sneak attack obviously.

As I recall, displacement for front line fighters, haste and slow were spells which really helped in that combat.

Web is great, too, because it reduces the movement speed.
