New Villages
I've been playing for a bit, have built a second settlement in my very new kingdom but can't remember how to build any more. I can't find the correct map that shows all the crossroads with the small signs that you click on to begin. Any help for the clueless?

1. claim region
2. go into the kingdom management screen (the screen with the event cards)
3. move the camera to the formerly claimed region and click on one of the pins

im assuming you just need to claim a new region if you couldnt spot the village locations

You need to take over more territory, which is 14 day project, these projects unlock as you progress with main story. You can build only 1 village per territory.

Thank you, didn't want to expand too quickly but guess I have grow. Nowhere does it say "one village per territory" , not that I've seen at least, so wish I had placed my Outskirts village better thinking I could build more there.

if your concern is accessibility to the village, you can build teleportation circles sooner or later ... so dont worry too much about it ;)

True; however, you will want to place your villages at strategic locations exactly because of teleportation circles to use them as a gateway to other locations and regions of the map. E.g. close to Oleg's in the Outskirts to quickly reach the trade post or to the very east of Silverstep as a gateway to Varnhold and other eastern regions. Also discussed here with suggested optimal locations; of course "optimal" is up to discussion :-)

Teleports = leveling up arcane, right? My Outskirts village isn't on a river so no pier, dangit.

Don't sweat lack of piers (or any other infrastructure for that matter). All these buildings are nearly meaningless in the grand scheme of things. They provide a TINY STATIC bonus, that's LESS then gains from a single random event. You only need to build 6 in every 3rd village to upgrade it to town (12 for capital, but that's much later).

And maybe some with Espionage bonuses (since you unlock that stat latest and have least time to increase it). Early on some Divine + Arcane to unlock Teleportation Circles ASAP. Aviaries in strategic town locations. That's about it.

I build allrounded kingdom and when I go over 200 on any stat, I start destroying buildings and building for stats I lack.
