I want slings!

I hate to waste a feat on my feyspeaker druid so he can use ranged weapons. The druid can only use slings as a ranged weapon. There are no slings in the game.
I also want to recreate my favorite halfling druid build Freddy Hellslinger.

Feyspeaker druid has only 1/2 BAB , have fun not being able to hit the broad side of a barn.

Be defender of the true world instead and pick elf so you can go with longbows.

Use that slingstaff. Halflings that have the martial proficiency feat can use them without needing exotic weapon proficiency. Its a hidden halfling extra feat.

Druids can use darts too but they’re just as rare as slings. The lack of these weapons in at least the early game is a huge oversight by Owlcat. All other classes have easily purchasable ranged weapons (or come with them), so why can’t Druids have access to the simplest and cheapest ranged weapons in the pathfinder universe?

Like all ranged weapons, you only need one and have unlimited ammunition. As far as where to buy, I have no idea. Like I said, just as rare as slings.

Was going to mention the Slingstaffs but someone beat me to it, also I had no clue they were considered a Halfling Weapon.

As for the Slingstaff and Darts you can get a Masterwork of either from Oleg but rares im not sure

Slingstaffs are not slings, they need a proficiency.

They should have added Shortbows to Druid profs.

I did find one normal sling somewhere. However, I don't think there are any magical slings in the game at all. There are a few magical sling staffs though.

Where did you find this sling??? You still need to waste a feat to use sling staffs unless you are a halfling with martial proficiency.

This page shows many Rare Weapons in game and lists 3 Rare Slingstaff. Not sure of location but maybe searching for the name will uncover location?

So I started a new game for the enhanced edition, and Oleg now sells masterwork darts, but no slings. No weapon focus feat for them exists either. However, the in-game druid proficiency list mentions them, and as you will see in the link below they did exist at one point post-launch. Anyone found at least a non-magical sling so far?
