Can I cast 6th level spells with 12 wisdom and a +4 wis item?
Thinking of making Amiri a Monster Tactician. She has 12 wisdom. I can unlock higher level spells when upping wisdom every 4th level, but will wisdom bonuses from items also let her cast higher level spells?

Even more, you can even unlock Feats with these items.

Good to know, thanks :)

But both those spells, and any feats or abilities requiring that stat are disabled if remove that item.

Pretty sure your base attribute value is what's used for determining whether you can cast a spell or not. The bonus provided by items does not count towards this.

That's not right. Temporary buffs (such as an Owl's Wisdom spell) don't qualify you for higher-level spells, but bonuses from items do.

Wrong, spells won't work, but items allow it....even in pnp (rules as written).

Now feats? Yeah, as per pathfinder rules that shouldn't be happening.

As Pathfinder rules, I think that can actually happen, because in PnP worn items after a while apply their buff permanently.

Indeed - the 8 hour sleep rule introduced from BG1 onwards isn't really what a 'good nights rest' was intended from even the Basic DnD set (remember that cool red box?).

Hence why attacking a Beholder from the front n PnP is never a good idea (goodbye +2 longsword).
