Otherwise you'll just have to max out your Use Magic Device skill and stick with items. (Or have a companion handle heals.)
Its als okinda funny I can pick a Tiefling (evil looking race) and also pick a good heavenly background/ herritage and bloodline.
Its lame that mages/sorcerors and evil characters get no heal spells.
I mean HOW ABOUT some regeneration spells?
Can we even get regeneration like in baldurs gate if we get over 20 constution?
That at least be nice because the healing rate ramped up if you got more consitution after 20.
Also think it would make sense to give undead, snake, and demon types some regeneration abilities.
If you want an evil caster that can heal with similar spells from a sorcerer, you can play an evil cleric/eccla. Choose the right god and domains to expand your spell list, eccl allow you to use all your spellslots for your first domain and you get access to all other spells for your domain spellslot.
You can always do a mystic theurge, you get both divine & arcane spell list.
A scroll savant, at 10 you can cast from scroll using your level instead of scroll level.
Or make a druid, a feyspeaker can get some illusion/enchantment spells, you can pick up a domain like fire if you want some fireball & co. But you give up pet, BAB & delayed wildshape.
If you want a spontanous caster, use eldritch arcana mod for Oracle class.
Pathfinder is a party game, a class can't get everything (or you have to loose something).
Any bloodline sorcerer get two spells on interest: vampiric touch (level 3) - good spell if you have a lesser or empowered reach metamagic rod or you take reach feat for some reason that is a good spell to drain life.
Also level 2 spell there is false life and level 4 spell greater false life - which do not heal you but boost your hp for for a very long duration. I usually find a spot for the level 2 version of that spell in my list of spells I take.
Beyond that a scroll savant wizard has access to any spells through scrolls but he is a wizard not sorc.
mystic theurge is ... well don't go there on your main....sure you have access to everything after level 15+ but untill then the spell progression is so gimped and bad it's like playing with half a party member.
In the end if you are level 18+ on your wiz/sorc you can take the level 9 spell (endgame) fiery body ... basically it heals you whenever you take fire damage. So fireball away.
'this game'...have you ever played D&D before?
