Tank
Decent
I lol'ed...Maybe on story or normal, sure I guess.
I've never tried it. I did some research and someone had a "decent" tank build but I had doubts.
You are gonna have their summons tank in front of them while they are on second row with a long reach weapon (longspear, fauchard, glaive). Late game you can shape change into dragons and elementals to tank better
Arent druids blocked from wearing metal armor? At least thats what it says in game. Haven't tried it directly.
Ya a monk dip is probably a good idea. You will be feat starved, and wasting it on improved unarmed strike would suck
Sweet :)
Yeah definitely not optimal, but maybe viable and fun.
I dont use heavy armor on mine, so you may be right. I just know in DnD druids wear heavy armor, and in P:K divine casters dont get penalized for heavy armor
Well I meant wasting 1 of your 10 feats on something you can get for free with a dip would not be ideal.
In game description for druid proficiencies says they can't wear metal armors unless they've been treated with an ironwood spell. Which I'm fairly certain isn't in the game.
They are blocked from wearing metal in D&D too. Baldur's gate for example had that limitation. but there was a plate suit you could make from bug shells they could wear. But haven't come across anything like that in Pathfinder.
But mostly was just asking in case the description was wrong or they couldn't figure out how to implement it properly. Druid is the one class I haven't been able to make room for on any of my playthroughs.
I just started a game with a main druid very recently, and was thinking last night "why didnt I make her a heavy armor build"
So now im glad I didnt lol. And I think i mistook heavy armor on a fighter/druid for a pure druid in BG. That girl that shouts ""For the fallen" was always in heavy metal armor im pretty sure. She was always very close to my main tank in AC
Either that of I just gave her the aankeg armor like you said lol
