focus abjuration + spell specialization remove curse
will also help.. a really expensive remove curse...
If I try to remove the polymorph by casting Break Enchantment I have to overcome a DC 39, which is impossible for my Harrim. But, if I use Potion of Remove Curse, the DC is only 22. Since the level of the potion is 5 I only need to roll 17 or higher (17+5=22) to succeed.
Pally had to cast 3 times, IIRC. I think the Bard skill-check buffs may help with overcoming the DC.
I did not remember it being that big of a deal, other than having to spend a night memorizing 'remove curse' spells.
I had tristian baneful polymorphed by a prismatic spray, from the gold golem in Pitax.
Break enchantment was coming in at DC 39.
Remove curse potion, was DC 22-29? or so, with +5, making IT really hard to hit.
After being worried for a while, I brought harrim in, with Dispel curse, and THAT was DC 22. was able to clear it easy.
Of note, being baleful polymorphed, removes ALL memorized spells from their slots. you need to manually reset them, not simply sleep.
The game doesnt tell you.
Break Enchantment is, caster level(max 15)+d20, against DC of 11+caster level of effect.
While, Remove curse is caster level+d20, against DC of caster level of effect.
Makes sense since Break is AoE with multiple effects while Remove is single target on one thing. Also comes up on dog in DLC.
