Ranged Rogue - multiple attacks?
Hi, anyone have any suggestions on how to get multiple attacks as a ranged archer. I am planning to make a rogue for sneak attack and looking to get more attacks each round.

Rapid fire
any others?

Sneak attack can proc from any successful rogue attack in this version, correct?

I dont have a level up to check at the moment, but you can enable a little dropdown that lets you see all the feats you cant get yet. I wish this game had some sort of feat tree feature, but thats the best we have for now lol. I know there is a feat that makes your full attack a double shot as well. Other than increasing BAB by not playing rogue, thats all I can remember

Rapid shot + many shot + haste and ranger BAB give him many attack/round

Ranger rogue/vivi are powerful and useful at the same time

19/1 is good

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1824130816

fighter(archer) will do more damage
ranger/rogue* is more useful outside combat

and the pet .. its like a other member of the team. I like the Leopard for flanking. He is small, fast and strong.

Edit: ranger get sense vital for sneak attack .. 5d6 at caster level15(ranger lvl19)
+2d6 from rogue/vivi

They are good but flanking is gonna be a problem. You gonna need 2 companion attacking the same target as you all the time.

Level20 feat of the rogue is not really good... still, i build 1 once in beneath stolen dlc and liked him a lot. They are fun.

Edit: sadly shortbow are extremely rare and not good

like

Prowling Cat: Speed Composite Shortbow +4. 3 uses of Summon 1d4+1 Smilodons per day

vs

Mirror Bow: Composite Longbow +5 , every shot one extra arrow shot 1d4 + half users strength bonus

Elves can use longbows without martial proficiency. Otherwise a human pure rogue can take the proficiency as a feat.

As a rogue you will have lots of skill point. Set the option to get all the XP from skillchecks to the user. That way your main will level much faster (meaning you get extra attacks from BAB sooner).

The speed modifier on bows does not stack with haste. Its nice to have but you are likely running with haste on any significant fight later on.

Manyshot does not apply sneak attack damage, so unless you have decent damage without sneak attack the feat is not a high priority.

Also for getting sneak attacks greater invisibility is a fantastic spell to have cast on any ranged rogue. Sometimes you will want to attack the back line that is not being flanked.

Edit: A 2 level dip in eldritch archer will also provide an extra attack when you get spell strike. note this will cost you potentially 3 attack bonus. -2 for your spell strike and another lost BAB due to dipping into a 3/4 BAB class.

Also please do not waste a feat on martial weapon proficiency for long bows. Bracers of archery grant proficiency as well as numerous appropriate class dips. You will be fine with a crossbow up until you get proficiency.
