Can you return to the Sorrowflow with a proper party?

I'm doing the 'Wildcards' DLC mission to recruit the Tiefling companion, but... being stuck with just her and my MC is KINDA CHALLENGING. Maybe if I'd rolled up a frontline warrior-type, but Sorcerer+Kineticist is NOT a particularly well-balanced party. I'm managing, just barely, but I found a hidden cave behind the waterfall filled with supersized centipedes, and after managing to fight my way through the first mob (one Gigantic Centipede and 5+ Large Centipedes) by the skin of my teeth, I moved deeper and saw... ANOTHER mob, even bigger, with TWO of the deadly, poisonous, Gigantic Centipedes. I... don't think I can do that. Not without a whole lot of save-scumming, anyway.

So - once I've cleared the place, will I be able to return with my full party and sweep up the things I passed by? Failing that, is there actually anything in the depth of that cave worth the trouble? >_>

Yes you can come back. Exploring the cave can give you a Kingdom Event to reopen an old mine. It requires an Athletic skill check if I remember.

Good, good... I figured it was something like that, based on some of the stuff that pops up when you examine areas early in the mine. The centipedes shouldn't be a problem once I have a proper tank standing in front of my squishy magic-wielders.

Part of the reason I was unsure is that there seems to be no way to DESCEND from the cliff once you've climbed it, so I wouldn't have been entirely surprised if returning there later would've left me confined in the area beneath where the Water Elementals were.

I got my ass kicked in this one as well lol. I remember thinking "how could anyone do this without mirror image"

I've GOT Mirror Image on my MC, and it was only thanks to that and Mage Armor that I was able to push past the first wave. But beyond that... no amount of Mirror Images can hide the fact that I'm just a squishy Sorcerer. :P

Its not bad if you can sneak. I got her item by sneaking in and grabbing it. I think I fought total of 2-3 times, none of it hard... one pair of wimpy things, free the elementals, up, 2 tough things, sneak and grab, back out. Invisibility might be sufficient here for a caster?
