Mandibles of a huge spider question:

So I picked up these mandibles of a huge spider, and looking it up it's for a quest that I can't do since I've killed both races for their stat up loot. Is there anything else to do with these mandibles other than vendor trash them?

No, it is quest item for a Mite Gatekeeper Qougly (sp). You need to chose their side or neutral option to be able to access it.

Yeah I believe it's only for this one quest IF you decide to befriend the mites

For anyone wondering the mandibles wont drop from enemies, there is a gigant dead spider near a underground "lake" of sorts, interact with it and you will get it.

Yes. There's a related quest with the gatekeeper of the Mites. It opens up an area with a chest reward.

like Dulce said, its used for one quest, which makes it useless if you cannot do that 1 quest with the gatekeeper who asks for it. If you've fought and killed the mites and made them your enemy there is no use for the quest item. Drop or sell it if you cannot access that quest.
