Imperial or explorer

Hey guys I’m getting this title for sure I’m just wondering if I should get the explorer edition plus season pass which comes out a little cheaper or is the imperial addition really worth the extra?

I hate how they use confusing naming conventions for these things. But essentially
You get almost no discount for the ascension DLC with Imperial edition.

And the ascension DLC gives you: Soundtrack, Digital Artbook, two in-game portraits, board game module, hi rez map, and a red panda.

Which is mostly just pointless extra. So unless the board game module is absolutely incredible I'm personally going with Explorer + DLC Bundle.

I wish there was a base game + Season Pass bundle like Deadfire has.

Then there's even less of a reason to get that now. Yeah I'm pretty certain I'm going to go with the same solution as OP. Explorer + Season. Got until the july 9th to do so.

There's usually a day within the sale where it's cheaper too.
