Ideas for Dex based build using Elven Curve Blade?
Pretty much the title - what good builds are there for this? I assume one would need at least 3 rogue levels for Dex -> Damage from Finesse Training. Would a two handed fighter make sense for other levels?

Ideally trying to make a fighter who uses this weapon and goes for trips...not sure if that's viable for the game (TB mod or not).

I think I remember seeing something about that weapon counting as a light weapon for a rogue if your normal size. That weapon in particular. It might be worth looking into

Yes, I know - that's why Rogue 3 is needed for the build...the question is what else do I put into it?

Barbarian kind might be a good idea... They get pretty strong with 2 handed weapon

Might be something like this? 16 2 handed fighter/ 3 Rogue/ 1 monk.

Is 2 handed fighter feat only for Str build?

Overhand Chop: At 3rd level, when a two-handed fighter makes a single attack (with the attack action or a charge) with a two-handed weapon, he adds double his Strength bonus on damage rolls.

Backswing:At 7th level, when a two-handed fighter makes a full attack with a two-handed weapon, he adds double his Strength bonus on damage rolls for all attacks after the first.

Hmm, I think you're right. Barbarian might be better then..

DEX to dam works for double slice even tho it says STR (see Maegar Varn). It would be worth a test.

Elf gets Curve Blade Proficiency with martial, so Eldritch Knight Sage Sorc Elf is probably the way to go. Cast then cut.

Most important feature of Curve Blade is big crit range, so build to take advantage of that.

My current tank/ dps MC:

3 rouge/ 1 monk/ 9 Sword Saint (pick first to get the ECB proficiency)/ 2 ranger (for power attack feat)/ Rest fighter.

Crit machine doing insane damage, can tank extremely well.

Why monk?

It is NOT Light (as in, reduced penalty for dual-wielding). Obviously it cannot be dual-wielded at all.
It is the only Finessable two-handed weapon.

Going for trips, your best bet would be a Str fauchard (Mastery) user. 2nd best probably Str Heavy Flail (Overthrow) user.

If you're really keen to do this with a Dex ECB, I guess you can try. You'd want to stack some Bite attacks (Motherless Tiefling, probably Vivisectionist with Feral mutagen minimum 2 levels, optionally Barbarian or Dragon Disciple) and get the Cloak of the Winter Wolf, which trips on Bites. You also want to have a high Attack Bonus for decent Combat Maneuver Bonus, so Fighter with Weapon Training and Gloves of Dueling would be nice. Although I suppose Barbarian with Reckless Stance and lotsa Rage rounds could work also (and that's another Bite from Rage power). Just wouldn't be exactly tanky.
