LOL.
Well, I think the romances are slightly better than Deadfire - Deadfire was pretty lackluster. They're not as good as BGII or even DA:3 IMO, but they feel decent to me. It may depend on the particular romance.
Can't find a list online surprisingly, but the ones I recall are:
Kanerah/Kalikke (DLC)
Maegar Varn (DLC, non-companion)
Valerie
Tristian
Octavia
Regongar
Spoiler:
Nyrissa
Kanerah/Kalikke (sp?) the DLC tiefling romance, feels pretty decent. The spoiler romance is also at least engaging from a story perspective, although not so much from a pure romance perspective. It's also finnicky as hell to get right if this is your first playthrough. I've heard good things about Octavia and Regongar, and Maegar Varn. Tristian and Valerie don't interest me at all, so not sure about them.
For me, personally, this game reminds me of Baldur's Gate II (the gold standard for cRPGS for me) mixed with a little bit of Temple of Elemental Evil (both the creativity and the jankiness) and IWD II. It's not quite as tight as Baldur's Gate II is, IMO, and there are parts that feel a little bit empty, but for the most part now that most of the bugs are fixed its a very good game.
DA:I's romance is better than all of those, IMHO.
You dont. You want to beat the game first then discuss this. Everything will make sense
