“Your main character will receive a +33 bonus to all saving throws”
I got this boon when I start a new dlc dungeon game.

The rest options are:

You start the game with a random
magical two-handed melee weapon from 122 level of the dungeon.

With a random magical ring from 122

With 6 copies of wand

I start to wondering how is this dlc game balanced.

If I make a character with improved evasion, I’m literally immute to every savingthrow check right?

Only for reflex, not for fortitude or will

With +33 on top of those?

^ This. Gold Golems are my nemesis. They spam Prismatic Spray (you have to make multiple saves, two of which are vs. death)... so many chances to roll a 1.

A lot of spell and abilities still do half dmg on a succeded save, so having uber high saves can halve the dmg but not reduce it to 0. If enemy can spam a 50 dmg ability, even taking half dmg will kill you soon enough. Evasion ability gives you 0 dmg on a succeded roll, that is way is powerful in combo with high saves. There is nothing like evasion for fortitude and will save, exept from lvl 11 stalwart ability of inquisitor.

And if you hit 1 you are screwd even if you have +100 to saves like others said.

The original question included Evasion. This is important because practically all "save for half" rolls in this edition are Reflex saves. For the others (especially Will), a successful save fully negates damage, if not the entire effect - which is why there isn't a Fortitude-save or Will-save equivalent to what Evasion does for Reflex anyway.

But the answer is still no - DCs will just get inflated to match. What they've done is make it basically impossible to survive the DLC using gear other than what's in the DLC.

Didn't you stop at level 122 though? If you iron-man it on a harder difficulty, it's not usual to do it.

But you could make use of that.

Evasion + Inquisitor's Stalwart would make you immune to all checks.

Although checks on a single character usually isn't what kills you in a dungeon.
