Kinetic blade and Point blank shot ?

Playing a Kinetic Knight and been liking them.

But now at level 11, and well its improve crit hit (blast) or its actually recommended, Point blade shot.

I tried googling but cant find any info if Point blank shot actually works on kinetic blades ?

If it does I feel I should take that.

Kinetic blade forms a melee weapon in your hands. And you make melee atacks with it. Point blank shot only works with ranged atacks.

Depending on your build you may want to pull with your blast (using, say, magnetic infusion) or switch between melee and ranged in different situations (Kalikke comes with blade and ranged feats) but that’s not how the class is usually played.
