Is there some profit from kingdom?
Talking about good old coins... so far I am spending most of my hard earned money (about 150k) on BP to be able not waste time and take projects if available.. however at the same time I am nto able buy shinies for my team:p

So is my hope right and I will eventually get some benefit form my kingdom or it is just money sinker?

Kingdom management is designed to be a money sink that adds role-playing opportunities to the game. It would be a big mistake to think/hope you will eventually come out ahead money-wise from kingdom management although you do eventually unlock teleportation circles, which save time, and artisans, which are a money sink at first but eventually give you a modest number of top-tier items.

The general rule is don't spend you money shinies, just use what you find/loot in the wild especially early game. Put it all into BP. TBH there is not too much to buy that's that good anyway.

I would put any spare cash I had into diamond dust and especially Death Ward scrolls, just sayin'. A few Restoration scrolls are pretty handy too, and so are Resurrection scrolls, but those are damnably expensive. Trinkets? Nah. BP.

It doesn't really do much for your "other" part of the game (the adventuring). It's just there as an extra layer of play. The most it does is provide a bigger framework for some events that happen, but in general it isn't very-well integrated with the dungeon crawl part of the game mechanically. The biggest benefit you get are the teleportation circles which market traveling around the map a lot easier. The only real important thing is not to break your kingdom, which apparently leads to a game over.

In the tabletop version you could withdraw money from the kingdom -- something like 4000gp for a BP. Here it's one way the opposite - I forgot how much but you can instead buy BP from whatsisname the vendor in the town square. But you can never sell BP, sadly.

Without mods, there's almost nothing to buy with money past mid-chapter 2 but scrolls (restoration scrolls don't appear have to have their component cost included, buy a lot of them) and cheap ingredients. Don't worry about spending lots of money on build points all that much.

You get better vendors and you get better items from your crafters. You also get fast travel. Then there are also buffs that you can get like immunity to poison and reducing random encounters, and things like that
