Shooting 4 laser ... pew! pew!
I found a great axe that I gave to Amiri that totally outclasses her reforged bastard sword; its got speed on it :D
I'm not sure if they count as a "weapon", but there's a set of robes for a lawful evil monk that gives +5 damage to fists.
Oh and I got weapon from Irovetti and that thing looks beastly; that 20d6 shrapnal attack some 3 times looks amazing.
This Khanda is a +4 Bastard Sword that gives its wielder a +4 bonus on Persuasion checks, DR 5/piercing, and a +8 bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects. Creatures hit by the Khanda must succeed at a DC 17 Fortitude saving throw or be affected by poison for 6 rounds. Poison deals 1d2 Wisdom damage and dazed a target for 1 round.
For daggers i used those two:
Edict:
Whenever this +4 mithral speed dagger lands a hit, it imposes a -3 penalty to target's Will score for 1 minute.
Or/and Deceiver:
This +3 agile dagger has its reach increased by 5 feet. It grants its wielder a +5 luck bonus on all Stealth skill check, and the ability to cast displacement spell once per day.
Sometimes i used this:
Prehistoric Tooth:
This weapon is a +4 necrotic burst punching dagger.
I don´t know what necrotic burst does - but it sounds nice - oh no - cool. Just compare: great axe vs. necrotic burst punching dagger...
And this a long time in game:
Trouble solver:
This +2 frost agile speed (punching) dagger has a chance to slow an enemy on a successful hit.
Harrim went with this:
Tyrant:
Each time this +5 flail lands a hit, it applies a stacking -1 penalty to target's AC, all saving throws and CMD.
Otherwise:
Vanquisher Greataxe (2h): +5, +10 damage per hit (+15 damage per hit total - all multiplied on crits), extended crit range (19-20/x3, with Improved Critical its 17-20/x3).
Mastery Fauchard (2h, 6 FT Reach) - for Combat Maneuver oriented characters, particularly nice for characters with Bite attacks and the tripping cloak; +5, +5 CMB, Permanent Freedom, immune to Trip & Bullrush, deals its normal damage on successful execution of a Combat Maneuver, no attack roll needed (!).
Bane of the Living Elven Curved Blade (finesse 2h): +5, Living Bane (+2 + 2d6 vs all but the Undead & Golems), casts DC 22 Harm on crit.
Blinding Light Estoc (finesse): +5, Blind on crit, increased crit multiplier (18-20/x3, with Improved Critical its 15-20/x3)
Redeemer Longsword: +5, Holy +2dg vs Evil, Flaming, Destructive (19-20/x3, with Improved Critical its 17-20/x3), casts Transformation 1/day
Ovinrbaane Large Bastard Sword (2h): 2d8 base damage (with great size increase scaling), +5 Speed, Anarchic (+2d6 vs Lawful), spontaneously casts many spells from Transmutation & Abjuration schools each day (among others Shield, Haste, Stoneskin, Enlarge); -2 AB due to Oversized
Lion's Claw Falcata: +3, extended crit range (18-20/x3, with Improved Critical its 15-20/x3)
Serpent Prince Fauchard (2h, 6 FT Reach): +3 Acid, increased crit multiplier (18-20/x3, with Improved Critical its 15-20/x3)
Clarity Elven Curved Blade (finesse 2h): +4 Ghost Touch (deals full damage and can crit/sneak attack ghosts!), Magical Beast Bane (+2 + 2d6 damage), +2 Luck bonus to AB
Perfection Longsword: +5, +2 Luck bonus to: AB, AC, Saves, Skillchecks
Steelwind Sai: +3, Greater Speed (+2 attacks per round - doesn't stack with Haste though)
Twin Crystals Two-bladed sword (2h, dual): +5 Agile, Keen; deals force damage
Mirror Bow, Composite (2h): +5, Whenever the wielder of this +5 composite longbow uses it to attack an enemy, Mirror Bow also shoots a reflection arrow at the same target. Reflection arrow is a ranged attack that deals 1d4 + half the wielder's Strength bonus piercing damage.
Graveyard of the Giants Large Bastard Sword (2h): 2d8 base damage (with great size increase scaling), +4 Furious (+2 when raging), Greater Frost +2d8, no size penalty.
Destroyer Greataxe (2h): +5 Anarchic (+2d6 vs Lawful), Unholy (+2d6 vs Good), Vicious (+2d6 damage, d6 vs yourself), Improved crit multiplier (x4) - for those 1000+ hit damage records.
Val can’t be a Paladin, but a Bard with a Tower Shield might be better!
Damn! Makes me want to go Sorcerer.
Mal
Any Dragon Disciple Sorcerer will make good use of a Bastard Sword (or any strength focused melee weapon really, I'm more of a Greataxe/Fauchard guy myself). There's no need to waste feats for it either since a one level dip in Sword Saint will get you free proficiency and focus in the weapon of your choice.
One? You don’t need Martial to take Exotic. Moot anyway talking about Val.
Only downside to Sorc Val is losing the Tower Shield and poor BAB. If you go Feyspeaker 12 you can use the sword, shield, and still get CHR-based casting while fighting as a Displacer Beast with five attacks regardless of BAB.
Ooh, lol! I've gone and made a fool of myself xD
