Trail of misfortune
I've got this kingdom quest that's appeared in the journal. It says:

"Discover what's going on. One of your kingdom advisers has to face this crisis and try to make sense of the situation"

Well, it would help if I could make sense of the situation. I've looked through the cards and can't seem to find anything pertaining to this. What the hell am I expected to do with this?

This might relate to the main quest. I think this event card is telling you to hurry and finish the main quest line. Either that or it's related to a different kingdom event, that you won't know about until much later.

It turned up I think immediately after Linzi informed me that someone has stolen my throne. I'm in the middle of Pitax at the moment, and I'm waiting for something to happen to let me into Pitax city, so I can't relate this to the main quest line easily.

Make a manual save and then keep playing. If it's not related to the main quest line, chances are it's related to a different kingdom event.
I had this same thing happen to me. Turned out it was just a bunch of Fey causing havoc in my barony. It was just an event card that required my advisors attention. Which then turned into a side quest.

I believe you get a event(not a project), after that you have to visit a location call Fey Glade.

He's on the Pitax chapter though. Isn't Fey Glade early?

Never mind. Disregard everything I said. This relates to a quest: https://pathfinderkingmaker.gamepedia.com/A_Trail_of_Misfortune

It's not Fey Glade. You'll get a funny random encounter while traveling the map.

No, if the quest is call Trail of Misfortune its the one at the Fey Glade

As for the throne you can find it in a area 1 day west of pitax, call Inconspicuous Ravine.

Ahhhh. That makes sense. I believe I got that quest at chapter 2-3 though. Hmm it might have something to do with Kimo the artisan.

You're not the only one.

This inexplicable journal quest entry speaks of crisis, and I don't like the sound of that, don't like it at all.

The wiki doesn't explain what going on either. What am I supposed to do, just sit and wait for something to happen? In which case why does the journal tell me I have to assign an adviser to do something about it? This doesn't make any sense to me. If I didn't know any better I'd think the game was trolling me.

Like I said just make a manual save and keep playing. By the way, have you done Kimo's artisan quest?

Look at your problem cards, you should see one about the fey.

I've done something for him, but I can't remember exactly what. What has that got to do with the price of fish?

What fish! Anyways, I have a theory that Kimo's artisan quest relates to the Fey Glade.
