But ya, it will tell you all the details in the battle log. Learn it well
Which level are you? There's a big penalty for shooting at anything engaged in melee (as you're trying not to hit your own friends) but there's a feat to negate that down the line.
This role system is very indepth. Just chill out a little and read some guides. You can always respec. Play on normal difficulty as well
Don’t wait until you’re down the line. It’s called Precise Shot and you need it by lvl two at the latest. It requires Point-Blank Shot first.
You can get them both at first level if you’re Human, Fighter, or Divine Hunter Paladin. If you’re a non-Human Ranger you can get the one you’re missing from your Combat Style feat at level two. Choose Archery, then Precise Shot.
Not until you’ve got a better idea what you’re doing and why.
If you don't have precise shot you get a -4 to hit, but the dex you have gives +4...so that would even out.
If you got rapid shot, that could give you another -2...but also gives you another shot. And if somehow you got the deadly shots feat....that could give you another -1.
You could have taken state damage, or be fatigued I guess.
Or...you could be fighting a swarm? You'll do no damage at all against them with weapons (other then the torches or elemental damage weapons).
Sorc lvl is zero BAB. Range can start slow since no flanking. Feels like missing a lot if you’re used to always hitting.
