Sub or Dub?

Dub, definitely dub for me as a native Japanese speaker. They gave it the funimation/viz treatment where the dub isnt just a localization but was enhanced while dubbing. For example in Naruto they re drew a lot of artwork and even re touched the music and included some extra songs not used in the OVA. In the case of Miss Kobiyashi they added in many jokes not seen in the OVA and they re wrote a lot of the dialogue to flow better in english.

weebs will tell you sub>dub without ever seeing either and if they did see a dub that was better for example cowboybebop they would deny it because sub>dub makes them feel superior. I wish I was exaggerating, but its a big circle jerk.

Both are pretty good, I’d say sub is better, but the dub isn’t bad.
