I vividly recall finding out about this game through a friend at school one lunch time. Ever since then this easily became one of my favourite games, well until 2021 of course. The game underwent significant changes, including the introduction of hopper, a noticeable increase in the price of tankcoins, and the removal of paints and shot effects from the monthly battle pass. On a more positive note, i did meet some of my life long friends on this game and i still play it every once in a while so i’ll give it a positive rating :)

My opinion / review:

Many long-time fans have expressed their disappointment at this shift, feeling that the game they once loved has become increasingly inaccessible to those unwilling to spend money on in-game purchases.

Despite these changes, the nostalgia associated with the game has helped to keep it relevant in the minds of many players. The memories of epic battles and camaraderie forged in the early years of Tanki Online continue to draw old and new players alike to experience the game's unique blend of strategy and action.

While the game may not be what it once was in terms of accessibility and player experience, there is no denying the impact that Tanki Online has had on the world of online gaming. For many, it remains a symbol of a bygone era, a reminder of the joy and excitement that gaming can bring.


I do recommend the game itself for nostalgic reasons.
