Weird that it is included in a package then, though, as well as that it is sold for the same price as expanded Crossroads.
In regard of your second question, Armored Princess came out way before Crossworlds (mispelled the title originally, since precise translation from Russian is "Crossroads of Worlds"), so people who bought original Armored Princess enjoyed it quite a bit before Crossworlds came out. You can think of Crossworlds as sort of "Game of the Year" edition, it's just that its contents aren't avaliable as individual DLC.
And in regard of your first question... I am also baffled why the original Armored Princess is on Steam, when it has expanded Crossworlds version avliable for the same price. Hence this topic
P.S.
And Crossworlds does expand the original campaign a fair bit; if you liked Armored Princess and would like to play through it again, than I'd say Crossworlds is well worth its current ~2.5$ price.
At this point the only people who would buy Armored Princess are the people who don't realize Crossworlds is the same game with more stuff in it. It seems intentionally deceptive... I don't like it. Bad 1C.
1. Original Armour Princess
2. Champions of the Arena (Small campaign)
3. Defender of the Crown (Small campaign)
4. Orcs on the March (Armoured Princess + additional: units(9), spells(13), quest(9), items(70), new skill for the hero and Adrenaline unique new feature for Orcish race.
So, just play Orcs on the March; and you can play Champion of the Arena and Defender of the Crown (or not play them at all), whenever suits your fancy.
P.S.
And if you are talking about King's Bounty games overall, it is:
1) Legend
2) Armored Princess/Orcs on the March
3) Warrior of the North
You can play any of the games without playing the others, though, and still perfectly understand what is going on.
So if Crossworlds is now standalone, this is a new thing.
And yes, Crossworlds is just a extended Armoured princess.
Originally, the Armored Princess was released first, and Crossworlds was released later as stand-alone expanded edition, which included all Armored Princess’ original content plus bonus content (think of it as GOTY edition).
So, yes, just play Crossworlds.
