Is there anything that can be carried to a new play through?

The backpack spaces that you have found and bought are carried over to the next round after you have played through. The game also asks at the end of the playthrough. However, it indicates that it will only be transferred on the same or higher difficulty.

Everything that is in the backpack at the end of the game is taken with you. Weapons are all carried over. Water bottles are not carried over. And as I noticed some of the medical items and materials. But I didn't remember exactly what was missing afterwards. When you start a new game, everything ends up on the floor in the bedroom.
