Cody's missing,

Cody ran away and i have 0 clue, where he could be. Am i suppose to guess, which zone he is in and sweep every area entirely ?

You cannot travel without Cody, so he is in the same square you are currently in. Possibly scared somewhere.

Weird. it's must have been a script event then. cause he was nowhere to be found and i was able to travel anywhere.

I slept till the next day and he came back

My Cody said he was liked his birthday in national park. After scouring home and wasting time shouting i went to the park but still didnt find him, but it was full of zombies which made things too hard. I never found him and died.

What I did: I went to the street, collected the hint of footsteps then went back home upstairs and the event with Anling played out and Cody came back. No need to search around, no need to wait till next day. Please report if that worked for you guys.

Yes! It worked for me. I was also wandering through all places and killed by zombies hordes
