how do i read books?

ive been getting a lot of these books that have descriptions saying they can give certain benefits when read, but i dont exactly see a"read book" option anywhere. how do i do it?

You can read books in Story mode.
With the book already obtained, you can sit on the couch on the first floor of Anlin and Cody's house and Anlin will read the book to Cody.
The couch is located across from the TV, where Anlin used to play the harmonica to quiet Cody.
Reading to Cody provides various benefits, such as improving Cody's skills.

Books are available in Kingdom mode, but at this time, books are not available for reading.
