Am I missing something?

Hey there. Just completed day 3, and I feel like Cody should be learning something. Am I missing a tutorial or something? I want him to craft or collect stuff but somehow there are habilities missing.

Press spacebar while doing stuff with Angling to teach him stuff. He'll get xp and will be able to do stuff himself soon, resulting in more xp.

There is a square popping up to indicate this, took me a while to figure out that it somehow stands for spacebar.

For me it was an empty circle (Not playing with handcontroller, so might be reason), and I kept pressing E. Took me way too many days before I learned it was space :P

Playing on a German keyboard. Guess it shows the assigned keys, and since "call Cody over to observe" isn't assigned by default (in my copy at least) it shows "empty" (square). Space bar must be the hardcoded default key. Looks like an oversight.

That sucks. I liked what I've played. But I wish they explained this.
