Can we save Mary please

Is there any way to save Mary (I think that's her name)? The neighbor's kid? I gave her water twice. Afterwards it just says the door is locked from inside...... it makes me very sad... I hope she's still alive.
Can we leave a note for her parents and take her to our homes? Maybe we can have her tag along like Cody, or just stay at home wasting but help collecting water or take care of the kitty...

I want to knock that barricade down and loot the house after bashing her between the eyes with my crowbar. Scammer lying chick traded me some plant material for clean water (I only gave it to her to try and bait her out) - got so fleeced and then she just takes off with your precious H20 never to be seen again!
