But it seems the game performs very different for people...so i´d say, buy for PC, test 2 Hours, if not to your liking, return it
It just has a few issues but not too major that would affect the playability of the game and it's best to be played with a controller.
If you do have any issues, check out PCGamingWiki[pcgamingwiki.com] for any fixes, tweaks or improvements.
Performance in the port is pretty good, and the graphics settings are kinda customizable, to the point where you can play with a rendering resolution that manages to get even lower than a Playstation 1.
The only major flaw I've seen so far in the port is that SEGA managed to somehow make the arcades harder for some reason and got rid of the classic scanline filter they had.
Thanks for the responses guys :D
I guess so yeah. They are taking everything in the Bug Tracker quite serious, and i hope and guess this is a good sign they want to release more than just Yakuza 0 and Kiwami for the PC. Although i might buy Kiwami 1 and 2 for my PS4 cause i cant ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wait so long to play further :D
This is the first Yakuza game I'll be playing, so I hope this gets me into the series as a whole. I heard this is a good entry point, and I'm quite excited to start the journey and enjoy it.
Yeah, it is a good entry point. My only concern is the Sales Numbers in the West for Yakuza 0 (and Kiwami 1 and 2) are not good enough for SEGA to make them bring the PS4 Remasters for Yakuza 3 4 and 5 to the West, let alone for the PC....just glad i have Yakuza 3-5 for my PS3 :D
Yeah, I can see that being a problem for sure :/ I'm planning to get a PS4 eventually because there are too many exclusives to pass on.
On that note, I wanted to ask about the other games in the series: do you need to play them in order? What I mean is, do u need to play 5 for example to understand 6?
Yeah...i was lucky and bought Yakuza 3 as a young guy in my local Software Store, and got Yakuza 4 and 5 via PS Plus Subscription a Year ago....
And yes: Since you are mainly following Kazuma Kiryu´s Story (besides the multiple Characters you have in the later Games, in Yakuza 5 you also play as a little Teenage Girl that wants to come out big as a dancer :D ) it is much advised to play them in order. I dont know if the Storys of the other games are more or less complex, but you might get a know in your brain when not playing them in order :D
I see.... thank you for the heads-up. I'll definitely keep that in mind.
Welcome. If you wanna get really invested into the Series, you´d better have a lookout for used PS3 systems and yakuza 3-4-5 then. i dont count on SEGA bringing all the remasters to the west....
