Does anyone actually like the mini games in here?

It's pretty fun, I definitely enjoy Karaoke, Disco, Pocket Racing, Cabaret.

Not too into the gambling stuff though.

I am trying to take on the Media King and disco (tried it for the first time) barely got 500 points.... I just suck and proablly just take the loss even though this will be huge if I can win though.

Haven't tried "toooo" many of them, but I like karaoke, catfights, cabaret management so far.
I think the only other ones I've tried were the batting cages which I don't wholly understand yet, and the claw machine.

The key to the disco, I've found is to not get thrown off by one miss. Always be ready for the next step. It's gotta flow like music.

It's not the best rythem game, but it's not the worst either. Think of it this way. i used to DDR back in the early day, least here you're not in public :D

For the batting cage dont look at the ball. Instead keep an eye on your character. He will start to close his stance as the ball comes, that is the time you press the button to hit.

I like the Bowling and the Pool.

Its one of those things where there are just so many of them you are bound to like something. The sheer amount of them is one of the things that has always made the Yakuza games feel unique. Fortunately, outside of a few occasions, they are optional so you can kind of spend time on the ones you dig and ignore the others or just flat out ignore them altogether. I just like that they are there even if I suck at quite a few of them, it helps the world feel more alive.

Karaoke, and Disco are 2 of my favorites since I like rhythim games (though something between keyboard control+'eye blinding layout' for disco is annoying for Hard difficulty .. if only they use mouse instead like osu)

Cabaret looks fun, but I haven't really into (only opened for 2 nights, but i'll definitely get back for more)

I thought Bowling is fun with all that mechanics but then it's so damn easy to always get a Strike/Spare in every throw/frame, I'm done after 33frames.

Arcade Center is boring lol

And I would play Batting more, but that 'Loading' screen is super annoying if you miss all of 3 balls .. 'retry' button Sega, pls ..

Pool, catfight, tamiya race, etc .. haven't tried those activities yet.

i pretty much like all the mini games except the outrun garbage... the telephone club induces the most rage for me tho... every time i finally get trough it i make the wrong pick on the girl or end up with a swamp creature...

on a side note, im quite surprised theres no full song ver ost tracks for all the songs used for disco and karaoke. some of them are quite nice, would have love to load it for my ringtone lol.

I'm sad that the one I enjoyed the most so far was fishing... Because fishing in video games is always pretty boring. I like disco on paper, but due to the controls, it's not as fun as it should be. I would enjoy karaoke if it wasn't also made too difficult by the control scheme.
I strangely like UFO catcher, because it makes me laugh at how unfair it is instead of rage as much as it should. It made me realise that a big number of grown adults are in front of their screens screaming at plushies. I kinda like bowling too.

I think I would like the cabaret, once I reach it.

Some of them are terrible, others are decent, others are amazing. Some are terrible only when doing them for the CP/trophies.

Disco is probably the only annoying game (at times) that's made much better due to the way it looks/ui.

Yeah and also the ability to customize the ingame tracks (after unlocking them each somehow) would be really great to have.
