catfighting is awful

Wow, I just did my first catfight and man, is it terrible. It feels like it's just completely rng except I'm forced to sit through all these "choices" that aren't really choices and it takes a long time. At least let me auto resolve the battle or something please!

edit: I'm convinced the AI is reading my imputs for rock, paper, scissors. I've had an ai go 5 rock in a row to match my rock and then suddenly change to scissors as soon as i switched to paper.

edit 2: I also noticed that with some bets, you actually need to win the entire tournament to get any profit at all. I was betting on jennifer and left after the first win and actually LOST money. Yes, I WON the fight but LOST money because the odds were so bad. I'm sorry, but that's just nonsensical.

I'll be honest, I want the achievement for 10 tournament wins but this minigame is taking all of the enjoyment out of the game. It's just so frustrating how little control you have. I refuse to get carpel tunnel by mashing the buttons.

Same, like I tried for a tournament win with Jennifer for an hour with no success because the last fight always RNG'ed me to ♥♥♥♥. Plus the button mashing mini-game is so obviously cheated sometimes it's painful. I just gave up on it and the Isobe dance off.

That's the only mini game I actually don't like here.

I mean sure the phone club and videos are cringy. However they are also so dumb it's funny.

The catfight however is cringy, and boring.

i made 250 mil on the first attempt, but then just couldn't win ever again. I don't know if there's something youre supposed to do to predict the rock paper scissors outcome or if it's just luck of the draw.

I had the same problem with Jennifer. I looked around and on gamefaqs a guy said you should look at the scrolling text at the bottom to see the fighters mood/situation. Turned out on mine Jennifer was boozing it up before the fight and the other girl had won the lottery. Switched to the other girl and won.

It is pretty bad. I liked it the first couple of times and then well the RNG hit me hard and fast. It stopped being fun after about an hour of trying.

What do you mean by it's awfull? I am having a blast watching that American teacher Jennifer fight, like kiryu watching videos and then sighing after he beats his meat to girls on video. Try looking at it like kiryu does at the video parlor.

you can make a lot of money pretty fast, the problems is your fingers, they end hurting too much.

Eh, main problem is the RNG. Its all about getting red or rainbows and if the other side gets them your screwed fast.

even the button mashing thing is RNG, half of them are straight up unwinnable not matter how hard you mash.
