I am Kazuma-Kun Crash

The side-quest crashes everytime I try to start the race with the kid, I've had little to no issues besides this specific quest. Anyone have any solutions?

Yes, you can do it anytime you want, even after you complete the game. No substories are missable.

There are missable substories in this game. They can be completed in another playthrough though.

Check Step 1a in this ps4 guide for the game, It lists which ones to keep an eye out for and doesn't spoil anything else unless you read up on them.

Me too, i have the same problem.

i had no issue on this substory yesterday, after they threw in a hotfix for the cutscene crash.
but now i crash on the "The Prodigious Racer"-Substory Cutscene, where he shows his Pocket Circuit Racer into the cam.

They rolled back the patch cause some people had issues, so it's broken again if you didn't finish yesterday.

That said I've heard this works for some if you want to get the other game build to finish the chain.

@Erebus: So its "download_depot 638970 3003440 8446046739927046572" says "missing license for depots 3003440" to me ? :(

The guide lists missable achievements, not substories. There are no missable substories.

I'm not exactly sure how the whole thing works to be honest, sorry. I just know it's doable (assuming they don't outright remove the depot).
