Japanese Language Only?

So, as the title says. This game is in the Japanese Language Only, the subtitles and UI are in English but if i had known this, maybe I wouldn't have bothered buying it.

I also could maybe put up with, I haven't decided yet if the voice actors sounded a little bit more enthusiastic than not at all. Does this get better?

Is it this way with all the games? No English voice-acting?

I was looking forward to this today as well. Why wasn't this mentioned anywhere?

EDIT: Okay, so it was my mistake, I was meant to notice the ticks and I didn't. So, is it possible to get an answer to any other one of my questions? Is the game worth the slog in Japanese or not?

This game has some of the best voice acting of any game and any language, just play it. You won't regret it

Yakuza 1 had english dub and it was terrible. This series is just so much better with japanese voices.

Yeah I found it. I have never even noticed that before. I read the description and the labels down the right but that far down, npe never noticed or cared to notice before now. Thank you.

You're talking to a PC audience. A lot of us here are playing this for the first time and have maybe never even heard of this series until about a month or so ago...


I only learnt that this doesn't have english voice from some random throwaway comment in these forums a few weeks ago.
As for the language box on the store page, there has never been a reason that most of us English speaking people from a western country have ever needed to check that before. I certainly didn't even know it existed until it was pointed out to me.

Just try to get a little perspective and see things from a newcomers viewpoint and how this could all come out of left field.
